Kit to upgrade the ABD Easy Tapsplitter Kit to incorporate the Pozibite function.

The major cause of problems when fixing a tap is a seized tap head nut. Brute force applied with a spanner to undo the nut can cause the tap to spin resulting in damage to the ceramic ware and water pipe joints. An additional problem with undoing a tap head nut is, as the material is soft brass, it can easily be damaged when tight if using a traditional spanner or grips as these can lose grip, rounding off the edges of the nut.

The solution? It's as easy as ABD with our unique PoziBite TapSplitter Kit - and absolutely safe. The kit contains 4 inserts (17mm, 17.5mm, 19mm, & 22mm) to fit most undamaged head nuts and the patented PoziBite insert for damaged nuts on pillar and bib taps. The Pozibite insert allows even a severely damaged nut to be gripped tightly and maximum force applied to release it. Using our TapSplitter to safely and easily undo the tap head nut on pillar and bib taps allows easy access to the washer or spindle for replacement and to the tap seat for regrinding to stop leaks, reduce stiffness, turn off and on correctly and fix other tap problems.
