Made short work of two very stuck bathroom taps which was more of a problem as they both swivelled a small amount with any attempt to remove the spindle and very little space behind the tap. So good to know we have the kit if needed for other taps. Took the opportunity to add new tap heads, Job done without having to find a plumber. Thank you.

So easy to use, after struggling to remove tap insert(Due to arthritis) brought this item and within 2 minutes job done, may be a bit fiddly to find the right position but once found a child could undo a tap insert, will pass this on to all my friends etc.

I live in an old farmhouse with plumbing that hasn't been upgraded for 25 years. All the taps are monsters to change or repair. With my standard spanners it would take days and typically damaged taps would result before the repair happened. The splitter made it an almost enjoyable job. So effortless and quick. Well worth the money just for the lack of stress. Highly recommended.

I've never changed a washer before and have very little DIY experience. The TapSplitter made the whole job so easy - it was simple to take my ancient tap apart with no damage to it and no effort from me. I also don't own a wrench and with the TapSplitter there's no need to - it's all included. Most impressed and I would recommend it highly.

Initially the splitter would not work on my very old imperial pillar bath taps, despite liberal application of Plusgas. The 23mm hex was not quite a tight enough fit on the imperial nut. The forces created on my initial attempt were visibly bending the bar of the splitter downwards! After leaving further doses of Plusgas to work over a couple of days I tried again and this time the splitter worked like a dream.

have used on two old basin taps which had never previously been serviced. The tap splitter worked exactly as described and enabled me to reseat the tap and replace the washers in much less time and without damage to the tap.
